What's New?

• The CMS400WebEdit editor, an alternative to eWebEditPro+XML, is available. Its main advantage is that users are not required to install an ActiveX control file on their computer. For additional information on this editor, see the User Manual section "Introduction to CMS400WebEdit" and the Administrator Manual section "Validating with CMS400WebEdit."

Enhancements:

• The View Content Difference feature has been enhanced. It no longer requires you to install an activex control on your client, and its display has been improved.
• The options for working with checked out content changed slightly. If you are not the user  who checked out the content but a member of Administrators user group, you can either force a check-in or request one.  If you’re not a member of Administrators user group but have edit permission for the content’s folder, you can request a check-in.
• A new Directory tab has been added to the CommunitySearch server control. This tab allows you to filter users by the first letter of either their first name, last name or display name. See the Developer Manual section "CommunitySearch Server Control" for additional information.
• You are now able to configure email that's sent from the forum and customize it to display the information you select. For more detail on the available fields and how this can be configured, see the Administrator Manual section "Sending Notifications When a New Forum Topic or Post is Created."
• URLs can now be saved to a user's Favorites. This can be done in the Favorites server control or via the SocialBar server control. See the Developer Manual sections "Favorites Server Control" and SocialBar Server Control."
• Images can now be rotated in the Photo Gallery.
• A new plug-in has been created that will send out notifications to users when a Blog, Message Board or Workspace has been updated.

Issues Resolved:

• A Calendar with an "All Day" event can not have the start and end time be blank.
• Parts of CMS400.NET can not be completely translated to another language, more specifically: Search.
• Integrated Search is not working across servers.
• The ListSummary property IncludeIcons = "False" doesn't work.
• When deleting an Active Directory group it takes an exceptionally long time to delete the group. 
• Australian Language is not being set in the Workarea.
• You cannot exclude Assets when working with Replication. 
• The Add User method in the API throws an error when the verification email option is turned on.
• There is a Collection issue when you try to delete a content item that has been added to an unpublished collection.
• Ektron.Cms.Community.FriendInvitation is missing the Username Property.
• Search issue when changing an item from public to private then back to public.
• The Index search control is showing no results for the textboxes and calendar field.  (European dates)
• Index Search - Quicklink issue in XML File under Assets.
• Metadata Image can not be changed for Multi-Sites.

• You now can move a Category from one Taxonomy to another Taxonomy
• Ability to find the parent taxonomy node from a child taxonomy node through the API
• Ability to use Folder name as OrderBy in GetChildFolders API
  • GetChildFolders() API has been added and that takes a FolderOrderBy enum. Possible values include Id, Name, SubFolderCount.
• When a user logs in to an Ektron CMS400.NET Web site, editable content, list, etc. are now indicated by a pinhead. This is the new default alternative to the green borders. Note: If you upgrade to 7.5.1, by default the green borders are still used. If you want to change to the new pinhead style menu. You can change this option in the Web.config file key
