I am using extranet/project management starter site from Ektron for an extranet site. I see a subscription icons on blogs and forums page. But the whole architechture is driven off of a project id and this project id should be either in the state(app state or session) or as a part of the query string.

Let's say, if somebody subscribe to a blog. The subscription email would have a url/link that would have the quick link of that blogid or a postid. So now if someone comes in, we woud't have projectid in state or query string. So how would we bring them to a subscribed page?

I believe, there a tweek to this in the architechture.

Any ideas of implementing this?

Have anybody implemented extranet using starter site and of soif anybody used subscription feature in the extranet site?

or is it something totally complecated feature to implement?

Is there a way to manipulate subscription email that is sent out for subscribers to add the projectid some how in the url?

thanks
