Developer Screencast: Framework API - Lists

 Permanent link   All Posts

Today’s inaugural developer screencast showcases a powerful addition to the CMS: the Framework API. Why introduce a new API when we have many already? The answer is simplicity. The Ektron.CMS.Framework follows a simple, consistent pattern that increases API discoverability.

If you follow or participate in the #ektron conversation on Twitter, you may have noticed tweets like this one: “New #ektron API is life changing for ektron developers.” See for yourself in this week’s Developer Screencast: Framework API – Lists.

P.S. Note to those using APIs outside of the Framework namespace: we’ll continue to support them for sometime, however, the Framework namespace is the home for APIs now and going forward. Over time we’ll expand what’s available through it!

That's really cool, Bill. Thanks!

one question about the criteria class.

I'm assuming the Condition property which maps to an Ektron.Cms.Common.LogicalOperation enum rules over whether all the filters are applied as an And or an Or operation?
