PROBLEM: Macromedia Flash in content causes problems

Applies To:
eWebEditPro
Causes:
  • The editor is not able to find the .swf file and the HTML parser hangs making it impossible to recover the content. Therefore it is unable to save or view as HTML.
Solutions:
  • Ensure that the .swf file is accessible by the editor. That is, make sure the file exists, that the path is correct, provide the fully qualified path, and that the client has permission to get the file.

The .swf file appears in three places. For example,
